KATJA BÄRWOLF
Katja has been working as a Costa Rica specialist since 2001 and knows the country inside out. In 2009 she founded Kalkonu Travel with her then Costa Rican husband. Since then she has successfully managed the company, always making sure that guests receive a perfect service and get to know the beauty of the country with respect. It is particularly important to Katja that the nature that clients visit is protected and preserved. Katja's pride and joy is her daughter Kira.
YOSSELIN MORA
Jesica can look back on over 20 years of experience in tourism. She has been with Kalkonu Travel since it was founded. She heads the accounting department. Jesica has control over everything and she doesn't miss a single detail. Her favorite place in Costa Rica is Sarapiqui, where she likes to spend the weekends with her two children and partner.
ARMANDO DIAZ FERNANDEZ
Marie came to Costa Rica in 2016 and fell in love with the country. Since June 2017 she is working for Kalkonu Travel in the area of creating individual offers and customer care. Marie has a direct and honest nature. She works very detailed and gives our guests open and honest advice. She prefers to spend her free time with her boyfriend and her dog. All three love to hike through nature and explore rivers and mountains.
EMI CALVO BERMUDEZ
Marike initially did an internship in 2018 and was so enthusiastic that she decided to join our sales team. She studied tourism in Germany and got to know the most diverse regions of the country during her internship. With her warm and happy manner, our customers receive a really friendly and professional advise by phone or email. She loves the positiv mood of the ticos and is always ready for a nice chat.
JESSICA MÜLLER
Jessica lebt und arbeitet seit 2018 in Costa Rica. Zum ersten Mal war sie in Costa Rica auf einer Gruppenreise 2014 und hat sich während dieser Reise in das kleine Tropenland verliebt, die faszinierende Natur und die freundlichen Menschen haben sie seither nicht mehr losgelassen, sodass sie nach ihrem Auslandssemester beschloss Costa Rica zu ihrer Wahlheimat zu machen. Mittlerweile ist sie glücklich mit einem Tico verheiratet.
KATJA FÄSSLER
Unsere zweite Katja ist Schweizerin und wohnt seit 2013 in Costa Rica. Die Liebe hat sie in ihre neue Heimat geführt. Mittlerweile ist sie Mama von zwei Kindern und geniesst das tropische Klima in Costa Rica sehr.
Ihr absoluter Lieblingsort ist der noch unentdeckte Süden des Landes. Die Drake Bay ist ein magischer Ort, mit einer einzigartigen Natur und man kann unglaublich viele verschiedene Tiere entdecken, sei es im Wasser oder im Dschungel.
MARIA MENA
Maria ist seit 2012 bei Kalkonu und ist verantwortlich für das Wohl des kompletten Teams. Sie sorgt sich um alles, vom gemeinsamen Frühstück bis hin zur Säuberung der Büroräume. Ihr ist es wichtig, die Umwelt nicht zu verschmutzen und kein Wasser zu verschwenden. Ihre liebevolle und immer freundliche Art bereichert unser Team von Anfang an.
MELISSA HERRERA DELGADO
Melissa, die wir Meli nennen, arbeitet seit 16 Jahren inm Tourismus und unterstützt das Team im operativen Bereich sowie den Reservierungen. Sie erfreut den Büroalltag mit ihrer herzlichen und freudigen Art. Meli hat 2 Töchter, eine Teenagerin und ein Baby. Ihr Lieblingsort im Land ist La Fortuna aufgrund seiner schönen Flora und Fauna und dem majestätischen Vulkan Arenal.
NELI LEHR
Cornelia, die von allen nur Neli genannt wird, kam das erste Mal 2009 als Austauschschülerin nach Costa Rica und ist ein Jahr ein einem kleinen Dorf zur Schule gegangen. Seither kam sie jedes Jahr in Urlaub hierher und lebt nun seit 2019 fest in Costa Rica. Neli liebt es zu Reisen, sowohl innerhalb Costra Ricas als auch im Rest der Welt. In ihrer Freizeit besucht sie gerne ihre Gastfamilie auf dem Land in Guanacaste.
REBECA MEDINA MARADIAGA
Alexa started at Kalkonu Travel in January 2018 and was initially an accounting assistant. In the meantime, she takes care of all incoming payments, invoice control and different staff issues independently. Alexa is always positive and has inherited her accuracy and understanding from her mother Jesica. She studies nursing after work. She likes going out with friends on weekends or visiting her family.
KIRA JIMENEZ BÄRWOLF
Jose is part of the Kalkonu Travel Team since 2016. Maintaining the database is his responsibility, which he carries out perfectly thanks to his detailed and exact way of working. With his technical knowledge, he also supports us in the field of computer installation. In summer he makes the whole team jealous with great sunset photos taken from his terrace.
